While I lay underneath the moon, above me remains a thick gloom.  Ever lowering upon me to consume. The sun has lost its shine.  Only fog and mist do I see behind.  The time of its vibrant brilliance I wish to rewind.  Is there any way this pain can subside?  Is there a place of comfort in which to reside? I look at me and only see a black void.  Whatever strength in me was some how destroyed.  Only cowardice has now been employed. An occupation; a career of sorts.  To take away reason and my eyes to distort. Low I have become, but I once again will arise.  Not looking for places to hide.  By new rules I will abide.  Underneath the new mo
